Patience

1 Corinthians 13:4–8a
Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails. (NIV)


Great verse. Patience is something, that apparently I am learning today! Planning a party for a persistant person is requiring a great deal of patience! Note to self: next time when throwing a party, esp if it is suppost to be a surprise, think about the guests. Ive been trying to organize a big blow out for the Momma in law. Bless her heart, she won't give up on trying to find out the details. The fam is not helping the matter either. My husband, oh how I love you, decided since she knows about it then its not a surprise and that equals no party. And who does he tell but the one person that will spread this like a wild fire. So now we have a majority of the guest not showing, maybe.. Who knows. Craziness..

 Ok, taking a deep breath and reciting the above verse.  Doing this for Momma in law, the important people that she loves will be there to celebrate her retirement, again. Ha
